The eldest son of Vendicus Drakonuz, Horus was the only one of his siblings to understand what had happened when his father perished on a dragon hunt. For weeks he was inconsolable, often unwilling to eat, and he slipped into a deep depression as he brooded in solitude.
His family worried about him until the arrival of a dark traveller to the villa. This newcomer spoke with Horus for days with neither stopping to eat or drink. Hushed whispers, chill winds, and spooky sounds eminated from within Horus' room as the days dragged on and the family waited. None know what was spoken in this time, but Horus' search for closure to his father's death was resolved.
The two emerged on evening around dusk and the Drakonuz family was struck by the transformation in Horus' features. His face was drawn and dark, blackness crept into every sunken crevice. His head hung forward and his shoulders slumped. In his eyes there shone a dark flame of power.
The traveller was a necromancer on his way to seek more knowledge. Horus followed in his footsteps and sought to learn the powers ruling the dead and dying. This is the power he lends to the fight against the Charr.
