In the preceding few months BK has been trying to find peace. In the midst of his mission to find himself and his rest, several things changed.. his ideals, his attitude, his beliefs, his all-around system.. and therefore, there's also a change in The ChaPaLan Site!

Here's a short history of The ChaPaLan Site.. as ridiculous as it sounds..

17 Sep 2005- The ChaPaLan Site was born. At that time, blogging was not entirely popular and Blogger was building itself to become the mainstream blogging device online. Skeptical of the concept of blogging, BK camouflaged his blogsite by hosting it on Geocities instead, and inspired by the Army days at that time, he designed the website to be of "camou" theme. The name "ChaPaLan" was coined as those were times when his mind was always in whirlwind and uncertainty.

2005-2007- Blog blog blog, but always not using the term "blog" as there always was a call to be different. BK simply wanted the site to be a pure creation of himself. In the midst upgraded The ChaPaLan Site to the "Double Integration" design inspired by the Math module taken in NUS Year 1 Sem 1..

Aug 2007- Brief stint at www.chapalan.net that proved to be too much for BK to swallow at that time. Reverted to Geocities soon after.

Early 2008- Upgraded The ChaPaLan Site third time, discarding the run-out-of-date designs, and opting for a cleaner, simpler and blog-like look. Temptations of using Blogger however rejected due to "one more try in pure creation". The page was not fully functionable with problems in framing. Concept of presenting data is a replica of any typical blog out there. BK was "blogging" but simply refused to state he was "blogging".

Jul 2008- Finally concede defeat to Blogger and the ease of use of it. It's blogging time!
