Class Structure

BJAT group study runs roughly for two hours. We try to break the classes/study down into time frames to allow for various training techniques and methods. Junan Taisho (stretching and warm ups) are not part of the schedule, this should be done before class, so you should come a little bit early. (see article resources for Junan Taisho ideas)

The shown schedule is a rough idea of training schedule:

15 Minutes of Ukemi and/or striking drills
45 minutes of Basic training
30 minutes of Advanced training
30 minutes of Weapon Training

Just because this says advanced does not mean a beginner in Budo Taijutsu can not participate. In fact it will benefit you to be there.

A special note on Weapons training:
A theme for every month will be posted for the group. Having the proper training weapons is a very good idea. Contact BJAT's director about these supplies. Many quality handmade, by Joshua Gillund, training weapons will soon be made available for you to buy. (check the site often for the online store's opening)

Workshops, Seminars
Times and training schedule are handled by the seminar's staff or proprietor.
Any Workshop ran or arranged by BJAT will be posted on the BJAT web site.

Madison and Kenosha training
Times and training schedule are handled by the Dojo's instructor or group proprietor.
