| Koenma is the prince of the the Rekai, or Spirit World. Though most of the time he appears to be no older than a toddler, Koenma is actually over 700 years old! Koenma gave Yusuke his Spirit Egg in the 2nd episode of the YYH anime, the one that Puu later hatched out of. He also aided Yusuke through the rest of the pain in the neck stuff he had to go through before coming back to life. As Prince of the Spirit World he is Yusuke's boss, but of course Yusuke isn't happy about that and often calls Koenma a toddler, resulting in Botan smaking him in the head with her oar. Whenever something goes wrong you can always count on Koenma to call our favorite boys to the rescue, so without Koenma, there would be no Yu Yu Hakusho. | ||||||||
