Touya was the Ice Master on Team Masho during the Dark Tournament, the same team Jin was on. He and Jin seem to be good buddies and both fought hard in their battles. Touya was defeated narrowly in his battle with Kurama. Kurama won by planted a death seed inside his own body and then letting it attach to Touya. Forunately, both the bishounen lived through the ordeal.
