My daughter was injured during birth. She was 8 lbs 6ozs, 22 inches long.

She is now 9 years old.

She had surgery in July by a team of specialist in Houston, Texas.

The surgery she had is called Mod quad or secondary surgery.

Please feel free to e-mail me for more info.

Abrielle is 10 months post operation from the
mod quad surgery....she
has more external rotation but her internal rotation is lacking more. She can not touch her mouth opposite ear, or chest(like saying the pledge).

ABrielle is such a delight.
She is currently helping other children with severe special needs at her school.  She recently received an award at school for helping those children during her recess and lunch.
I am extremely proud of her and her volunteering spirit.
She wants to be a brachial plexus surgeon when she grows up....I pray her arm/hand gets better so she can fulfill that dream.

I would like to add this:
Shame on my obstetrician that delivered Abrielle for not taking responsibility of her injury and
keeping in touch with us.
