Birds of Prey is the batman spinnoff that features Oracle, Black Canary and occasionally Huntress.  It started in 1996 with a comic book and in October 2002 it became a WB show.  Unfortuantly, it only had 13 episodes and it was canceled!  To learn more about birds of prey go to www.birdsofpreyonline.com.

1.pilot: The story is introduced of a woman that was once batgirl, a young adult who is the daughter of batman and catwoman, and a psycic teenager team up to save the world.  In this adventure Oracle (Dina Meyer), Huntress (Ashley Scott), and Dinah (Rachel Skarzten) must go up against somone who can scare you to death_______literally!

2.Slick:Helena is in theropy with Harleen Quinzlelle (Mia Sara) as she tells her about her life but tries to keep away from the subject of her night life in Gotham.  There's a new criminal out there who can turn himself into water.  They call him Slick (guest:Silas Weir Mitchell).  When he attacks Dtective Jesse Reese (Shemar Moore), Huntress must save him.  Reese wants to learn about her but she just won't let him in!  Barbara and Helena had already figured out that Dinah had been lieing about everything.  They find out she is a teenage runaway and Helena doesn't trust her.  But when Reese is in trouble and Huntress is cornered...only Dinah can save them!  When it's all over, Dinah lets the truth out.  But who hired Slick?  Maybe Dr. Quinzelle isn't all that she seems.

3. Prey for the Hunter: Someone is out killing metahumans with their own powers and Birds are determined to find out what.  When Reese gets a knew partner, he learns about metas.  But Morton his partner (guest star Joe Flanegan) tells him they are criminals.  Reese doesn't know if he should believe Helena or Morton.  So when Helena and Barbarado investigating Dinah descovers that there is a secret meta only bar run by the funniest character of the series, Gidson Kafka (freaquent guest star Robert Patrick Benidict).  The birds find out that Morton is the killer and set out to stop him.  After hes done with Helena expalains the truth about metahumans to Reese.

4.3 birds and a baby:Dr. Quinzelle hires a man to program a baby that goes through an entire life cycle in three days.  Not only that, but is programed to kill.  Huntress finds him where she and the birds take care of him.  They give him the name guy (guest stars Michael Welch, Riley Smith, Mathew Jostin, Victor Bevine, Richard Stobie, and Bobby Edner).  Quinzelle, not knowing who birds of prey is, hires a mercenary (Brody Hudzler) and his men to find Guy.  She turns on his programing to kill, but as he reaches age 20 then Huntress tells him that he is good (you know how that goes).  The two of them fight together.  After everything is over, Guy turns old and says goodbye...meanwhile Dr. Quinzelle is determined to find out who is ruining her plans!

5. Sins of the mother:  Carolyn Lance, aka the Black Canary (guest star Lori Loughlin)  returns and finds the Birds.  It is found out that she is Dinahs mother.  But Dinah is not very happy to see her.  Al Hawke and his gang come after the Black Canary.  Dinah and her mother talk it over at No Mans Land.  Dinah thinks about forgiving her but just runs away.  As Carol runs after her, Als gang captures her.  Dinah and Huntress go after them.  Al Hawke puts a cover on the Canarys neck that blocks her canary cry (meta power used by Dinah in the comics).  Dinah uses her new telecanisis to take it off.  Huntress gets Dinah out but Carol is left behind while the building explodes....leaving her presumed dead and Hawke badly engered.  But secretly Reese has a connection with Hawke...a father son connection!!!!

The Jokers bullet would forever define Barbara Gordon.  With the dark knight as her inspiration, Barbara was once Batmans protoge, Batgirl.  She was caught in the crossfire of the war between Batman and Joker.  So one night there was a know on her door and the Joker shot her as she answered it.  He photgraphed her parilyzed body and sent it to Comissioner Gordon to drive him mad with grief!  But now, she still fights crime as oracle____master of the cyber relm and trainer to heros!

                        Oracles legs...The Black Canary!!!

Dinah Lance is the daughter of Carol Lance/Diana Lance-the first Black Canary.  On the Birds of Prey television series she runs away from her new foster parents and finds Barbara and Helena.  Her powers include telicaniesis and telepathy.  That Dinah never becomes Black Canary.  But the comic book Dinah, meets Oracle and is mentored by her to become a superhero.  She inherited the Black Canary costume from her mother and was a founder of the JSA.  She is Oracles main partner.  Her metahuman power includes a highpitched, sonic cry of light that is able to break glass, crumble walls, or do other damage.
