FROM RAINIER AVE:  Turn left onto Renton Avenue (McDonalds on corner) go up big long hill all the way to top            

Turn right on 76 Ave S. ( 7-eleven on corner ) go 2 blocks

Turn right on S. 124 th Street ( firestation on each side )

Go 2 blocks to 2nd 4-way Stop--School parking lot in front of you.

 

Meeting Room is the School Cafeteria at the far north end of the School.  Go in through Triple Doors at north end and Cafeteria is just inside on the left.

 

FROM I-5 NORTH:  Take 405 North--exit 2.  This is a double exit.  Take 2nd Right ( says Renton ) Loops down to Rainier Ave.  Follow Directions for Rainier Avenue at top of page......

 

FROM 1-5 SOUTH:  Take the Martin Luther King Exit         ( says Renton ) follow all the way to Rainier Avenue.  Follow Directions for Rainier Avenue at top of page......

 

FROM 167 NORTH: Turns into Rainier Avenue, Continue though Renton.  Follow directions at top of page......

 

 

AGENDA

 

The club meets the 3rd Friday of each month at

Dimmitt Middle School from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

 

The agenda is to focus on different groups of birds each month.

To have Members bring pet birds of the species we are focusing on for that month. Be able to share first hand information on that bird.  For others to be able to participate in interacting with different species of birds to learn more about them.

To have Guest Speakers from all levels of Avian Experience help us Learn.

First hour is Set up and Project time. 

Official start time is 7:00 pm.  Introductions of guest birds and their slaves that brought them. 

Introduce Guests and new Members.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this club is:

1. Provide a way for all People sharing an interest in Birds to gather and share information.

 

2.  Encourage participation in Learning about, Caring For, and enjoying birds.

 

3. Encourage Education of Aviculture through Workshops, Seminars, Field Trips, Publications and Coordination with other Avian Organizations.

 

4.  Stimulate Protection and Conservation of all birds and their Habitats.

 

5.  Promote Higher Standards in Aviculture 

 

GOALS OF CLUB

To Provide a Fun, Social, Learning Environment

We want to be your social night out.................

THIS WILL INCLUDE:

Educational Games: Getting to Know all Kinds of Birds

Make it ourselves Projects: Toys, Crafts, Play areas, etc

Consignment Tables:  Guest Vendors, Members can bring items for sale...No Live Birds, just merchandise.

Raffles:  Bird Items, People Items, Books, Toys, Bird Food, Etc.

Field Trips:  Mollywood, Zoos, Bird Fairs, Seminars, Etc

Refreshments: All sorts of goodies, pot luck style, snacks, Etc
