| Professor Andrew N Carpenter, University of California at Berkeley, has published the full text of his 1998 PhD thesis on Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) - Kants Earliest Solution to the Mind/Body Problem. Professor Carpenter demonstrates the central role of Kants "thoroughly embodied" early work on his hugely influential later "critical" works. According to Professor Carpenter, Kants embodied philosophy has generally been passed over by Kant scholars in embarrassed silence. |
| Professor David Lavery, Middle Tennessee State Univeristy, has "edited" the full text of a multi-media cyber-book on Descartes "fantastical" philosophy by Johanna Climacus - the long-lost sister of Soren Kierkegaards (1813-1855) alter-ego? The book is entitled "Evil Genius: an experiment in fantastic philosophy". It examines the influence of the Evil Genius (Descartes) "dis-embodied" philosophy in creating a Modern disease within Western society: Proprioception Deficit Disorder (PDD). |
