Graphic Design targeting a Corporate Security Market. The work below spanning 2017-2019

MotorBike

Campaign Material

Photo, 2018

The company I work for recently adopted a mobile application to notify employees of emergency situations. For example, Virginia Tech School shooting many of the students heard the gunfire but had no idea what was coming down the hall. This project was a huge campaign I helped roll out to the employee population. I was in charge of building posters that match the mobile app. 60K employees firm wide saw the posters. I was also in charge of taking photographs to incorporate into the media. Lastly, hard cards were created to distribute for downloading instructions.

Evacuation Material

Sept. 2017

Working in Corporate Security it's imperative that you protect employees and educate them on life safety. Fires happen in the workplace and getting people out of the building is important so they go home to their families everyday. I have worked for companies that do not have a contingency plan for fires. Included in this package is an example of an evacuation map, wallet cards for employees to understand how the fire system works. In a large populated building understanding how to get people out of the building and accounted for is imperative.

Logo Design

Digital Rendering

Logos are a good way to show potential clients that I have experience branding companies. The example below is part of a client review presentation. Several different examples of color palettes are shown to express different emotion and tone. I'm currently requesting permission from clients I have worked with in the past to show in my portfolio. I made some color changes to the logos presented in the document. Colors reflect am American classic.

Example 2
Est. 2019

I have experience building website for my company and for outside clients. These website were not built from templates. The GSI Website featured is an internal company website posted for employees to retrieve information regarding life safety. The Milliron Law Firm is an example of a very simple that could be used on a mobile device. Many of her clients do not have the money for computers. Both of these website align with a security theme.

Magazines

Example 2

One of my favorite projects is creating magazine covers and spreads. I like these types of projects because a certain level of photography is incorporated. As a designer it’s challenging to "wow" the audience with a still image. This project also shows my ability to structure text and balance the overall piece. Example 2 is a Travel Magazine Cover.

Typography

Digital Print 2018

The theme is Alfred Hitchcock and the images were built using "Wicked Scary Font". The font is edge and reflects horror films. The spiral behind Alfred Hitchcock keeps the audience attention focused in the middle of the poster. The Alfred Hitchcock silhouette is a nice contract in the red color. I simulated the font to look like birds above the head. This is a cool tribute to the master of horror films.

Photography Story

Photo, 2017

I love vintage motorcycles and riding them takes you back to a simpler time. The photo story depicts a ride through the small town of Grapevine, TX. The themes of the pictures are rustic, industrial and vintage. My intention was capturing the beauty of an old city. One of the still images conveys motion while riding. Please follow my story though a wonderful city.

Digital Banner

2017

Click and experience this animated digital banners. The banner is simple. It delivers the message and has an eye catching beach scene. The font and texture of the letters in the banner contrast well. The purple color pops and matches the company logo. Overall, the picture draws the audience. The banner is not overloaded with text and pleasant.

Posters

Example 2
Poster 2018

The medium is watercolor – The theme is set in the 1940's. "The Aliens are coming!" These were really fun to illustrate. The text pops out immediately but your eye flows to the subjects in the middle of the posters. Creating contrast and bright colors using watercolor was the biggest challenge. These examples show my ability to sketch free hand.

Tribute

Monument Picture

I was given the opportunity to help create a monument honoring first responders in San Antonio, TX by the Daughter’s of the American Revolution. My role involved creating sketches and digital proofs of the initial plans that would be approved by the mayor of SA before the monument was built. I narrate my experiences of building the monument and show the journey. Please enjoy, this video took up a lot of time to make this week.
