Paul and I have become friends via the wonders of the World Wide Web and e-mail. What a genuinely great guy and a wonderful drummer. I was thrilled to see him get the drum chair back for the big Roxy Music reunion tour this past summer. I regret that I didn't get a chance to see him but I'm sure there will be a release from the tour somewhere down the road. I have actually drawn a lot from Paul's style to help mold my own drumming style. Paul was brought up on John Bonham and it shows, especially in his early Roxy Music work. But don't think of Paul as just a power drummer, because he has great touch and finesse as well. I can't say enough good things about him.
