**October 10, 2002** Hi folks! Wow, way out of the loop on this page here and with all of TGPT fans, but it is good to be talking to you all again! As we are all aware, Paul is on tour with Bryan Ferry and blowing the away everybody, particularly, the skeptics who didn't know if Paul still had the cannon like power to drive BF's music along anymore. The critics were wrong. Paul still rules behind the kit! As soon as I talk to Paul again, you will all be the first to find out! Oddly enough, about a month ago, I was talking to none other than Pete Sinfield, whom was RM's producer for their debut album (not to mention the legendary wordsmith for the early King Crimson albums), and Pete told me how good it was to see Paul doing his thing again in front of the whole world. As Pete said himself "A band is only as good as it's drummer...and Roxy Music is GREAT!"
**January 16, 2002** Just wanted to make everybody aware of a great book that is out right now about TGPT's drum idol, John Bonham, a book that includes contributions from our own PT himself! The book is called "John Bonham: A Thunder of Drums" by renowned rock journalist and author Chris Welch and is available from Backbeat Books at www.backbeatbooks.com. If you are a drummer, you definitely cannot do without this great read!
**January 2, 2002** Hello to all! I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and New Year! Not much lately on the news front. Paul is doing quite well however except for his recent dealings with some problematic fiends hazing others on Paul's official message board to which Paul declared that he wished the perpetrators with an eternity of the "piles"...yikes! I will be sure to update soon with any new tidbits that may come about!

Hello to everyone! Well, the latest news on Paul's wrist is not totally encouraging as he has been told it will most likely require surgery. however, Paul says that the recovery time will not be too long and is very upbeat about the situation! In the meantime, for some happier news, Paul has been sitting in on the DVD mixing sessions for Roxy Music's forthcoming DVD release from the reunion tour! Not only am I happy to hear that this release is coming soon, but I am ecstatic to see Paul so actively included on the production of it! We shall soon see what comes out of this! In the meantime, I want to wish a very Merry Christmas to everybody and a safe and Happy New Year should I not update before then!

Greetings to all! Not a whole lot of news on the PT front other than Paul is visiting his doctor today to check the extent of his wrist injury. We are all still awaiting word on that right now and keeping our fingers crossed. in site news. I have just added an interview from the "Newcastle Journal" from May of this year where Paul was interviewed just prior to the Roxy tour, as well as a new photo gallery. Be sure to check them out. Greetings to all Paul Thompson fans and welcome back to the PT fan page! It's great to be back at the helm here. As many of you may or may not know, the latest from Paul's front is that he has mostly been resting his injured wrist since the conclusion of the Roxy tour a couple of months ago, but there is some very good news too, mainly, that Paul has recorded some drum tracks for the upcoming Brian Ferry solo album. Great to see Paul and Bryan working together again and I hope we will see more conspiring so to speak between them! Will Paul tour with Bryan in the near future? Hard to say, but it sure doesn't hurt to keep your fingers crossed!!
