Pat is a total drum monster! I saw Pat playing with the super King Crimson entourage in Cincinnati back in 1995, playing right alongside Bill Bruford, and I couldn't believe how hard Pat was hitting the drums. But surprise, in the absence of Bruford from the newest Crimson lineup, Pat is now showing that he can more than handle Bill's jazzy techniques on the old material and is showing great versatility on the new Crimson material. I have spoken with Pat via e-mail a few times and he is another truly nice guy that has really been overlooked through most of his career. I am looking forward to hearing more of Pat's fantastic drumming in the Crimson line-up for years to come. |
