In the name of God, Amen. I Parker Brooks of the county of Sevier and State of Arkansas being sick of body, but of sound mind and memory, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and certainty of death do wish to dispose of such estate real and personal as I am possessed of and do hereby give and bequeath the same to my family agreeable to the following distribution thereof.

In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name in the presence of the subscribing witnesses who place their names as witnesses at my request this second day of October A.D. 1841.

Signed sealed and delivered in presence of us who have hereunto placed our names as witnesses at ehe request of the testator.

This day personally appearance before me James Penny clerk of the circuit etc exofficio clerk of the court of probate in and for the county of Sevier aforesaid John W. Pettigrew, Samuel Sloan and Paul R. Booker all personally known by me and being of lawful age subscribing witnesses to this foregoing last will and testament of Parker Brooks late of said county now deceased and made and subscribed the following affadavit to wit.

James W. Pettigrew and Samuel Sloan deposeth as follows to with that they saw the said Parker Brooks sign said will and testament that he was in his right mind at the time and that they at his request signed their names as witnesses thereunto in his presence and in the presence of each other.
