13)Hyperlinks/links: An element in an electronic document that links to another place in the same document or to an entirely different document. Typically, you click on the hyperlink to follow the link.
14)Local Area Network (LAN): a network of personal computers in a small area (as an office) that are linked by cable, can communicate directly with other devices in the network, and can share resources
15)Network: A group of computers that are connected by a communications link that allows them to share data or hardware resources.
16)Protocol: a designation that tells your computer and the remote computer what language to speak to each other in order to exchange information
17)Router: A device that connects any number of LANs.
