Well I have some bad news. Unfortunatly it isn't called armor-rotting potion or steel-rotting potion. Nope, it's called flesh-rotting potion. So all you did was get this stinking potion all over this man's clean armor that I'm so very sure he washes evry morning right after he brushes his teeth.
Now, what do you think this man is going to do to you. If you guessed kill you, you're right. Then what do you what do you think he is going to do. If you guessed go and "RECLEAN" his armor you're right again.
But that's ok because you can play again. Or you can do like you've done the whole game and hit the back button you sneaky little cheater. And if you're one of those people who haven't been doing that you need to go see your shrink. WHY? Because it isn't healthy to lie to yourself!
