No clickable map here I’m afraid – my web skills are just not that far advanced !! The following map is just to give you guys some idea of the places that we will be visiting along the way.
We also haven’t got a fixed route in mind as yet. Flexibility is our main aim and if someone suggests somewhere of interest that we’ve never heard of, then we will probably head off in that direction.
We will be starting in LA then heading through Mexico via Barranca del Cobre (Copper Canyon), onto Guatemala to learn Spanish for a few weeks, then on through Central America to Panama City. Here we will arrange transportation to Ecuador (if Columbia is still no go). Then from Ecuador, down to Peru and Bolivia. Then we will have to decide if we do the Amazon loop from here, or carry on riding south towards Patagonia……….
If anyone has any good suggestions of where to go (or where not to go) send us an email, we are always glad to read them.
