First of all, YOU CANNOT BURROW A SIEGE TANK. IT IS A JOKE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE. IF ANYONE CLAIMS THEY KNOW HOW, THEY ARE LYING. IT IS A PRANK. YOU CANNOT DO IT. THERE IS NO BUG. IT IS ALL A HOAX.

It's been an interesting couple of days! I met lots of cool people, and even told a few people that it was a joke. I met the guy who invented matrix (ya RIGHT) who promptly created his own completely lame version the map and even put his screen name in big mineral letters on his map. I got cussed out. I got offered money. I got worshipped. I got annoyed. I got spammed. I got threatened.
Yesterday I carried the joke too far when I released "Burrow A Siege Tank Pro" which allowed player one, through a series of triggers, to trigger a totally fake victory condition. On that map, if player 1 (red) moves his civilians all the way to the left, then moves an arbiter over his beacon a couple of times, then sieges a tank in the middle, he wins. Actually, the map just replaces the tank with a burrowed lurker which is renamed "Terran Siege Tank." LoL! I got this idea from Burrow An Arbiter, which is a great map by the way. If you created it, please email me.
WELL one of the reasons I decided to end the joke today is that there's a big hole in that map. If you build a pool, a den, and another hatchery, then morph a hydralisk into a lurker, you'll see clearly it's named "Terran Siege Tank!" OOPS. Well okay I should've tested it better. To those who figured this out, good job!
The other reason is that there are a lot of lame copycat maps out there. Actually, in a way, mine is a lame copycat too, since Burrow A Zealot came before my map. I didn't know about it, but I played it yesterday and I'm pretty sure it's a joke too.
To those who wasted many hours on my map, lost bets, punched holes in your screens, etc, I can only say....

No seriously I hope you didn't take it too hard. Thanks for your emails, which were almost all very polite and nice and well thought out. It's been fun, but now it's done. Please feel free to create all the copycat maps you want, fool your friends, win back the money you lost, and get a laugh at someone else's expense. I'm including the original Burrow A Siege Tank! map here, unprotected.

Update:
Someone pointed out to me today that it's a NYDUS canal, not a NYDILUS canal. Okay so I'm dyslexic. And not one person made fun of me until now! You nice people.
Today some dude sent several viruses to my email account, so I know that at least one person out there hates me! Yay!
Several people have asked me how I made the screenshot. You can push "print screen" on your keyboard in starcraft and it will save a PCX format screenshot, then you can convert it to a bitmap with a program like ACDSee. Then you can edit to your heart's content.
I'm thinking about making a new map called "BigBlack's Can You Do Six Stupid Tricks?" The tricks would include:
Burrow A Zergling
Siege A Siege Tank
Float A Command Center
Gather A Mineral
Any other suggestions?

I've been receiving lots of emails again all of the sudden, so the map must be making a second round on battlenet. I have now received emails from 69 different users!!! The web site has had 466 hits to date. It's the map that wouldn't die!!! Almost as good as Hello Desktop.

There have been almost 1000 hits to this page now. I have received emails from over 100 people! If you type "burrow a siege tank" into google this is the first page that comes up! And when I log on as BigBlack I still get messages about it. DON'T YOU PEOPLE EVER CATCH ON???
I've gotten some really funny hate mail lately. Every time someone puts "fuk u u 11 year old" in an email it just warms my heart to know that they probably spent many hours trying to burrow a siege tank! JOKES ON YOU BUDDY! This web page was supposed to end the joke, but I have learned something: battlenet has a mind of its own. So burrow on, you fools!

Update:
I lied about that being my last update. Now a year and a half after I created this map, I still get emails asking how to do it. Un Be Lievable. This site has gotten 2500 hits. I've gotten approsimately 300 emails. To answer a couple of common questions: I don't have the Burrow Pro map or anything else for that matter, because I got a new computer and I didn't keep any files. I never made "BigBlack's Can You Do Six Stupid Tricks." I can't tell you a good map editor to use or help you with your map.
Not that I mind the emails, but I seem to answer those questions a lot.
Anyway, just tripping on the fact that a year and a half after its creation, this silly prank I came up with one cold December night is still going. Burrow on, burrow on.
