| Name: Diane McFarlane Rating: 5 Stars Author: John Irving Title: A Prayer for Owen Meany Book Review: At first I only read this book because there was a review on the front cover by Stephen King. After I read it, it quickly became one of my top ten. It has a religious quality without being overly so. The characters are very believable and don't do anything which you yourself wouldn't do in the same situation. I look forward to reading more books by John Irving. One more thing, the book was definatly better than the movie "Simon Birch". |
