My Vision

Revelations 3:20
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me
.

One afternoon on a Saturday 1996  I laid down to rest and in matter of seconds I found myself in the middle of a football field all alone. (I'm not sure if this was a vision or a dream) There was no one in the stadium at all. I turned to my left and looked toward the goal posts. There stood Jesus standing in middle with His arms stretch outward toward me. Then in a blink of an eye I was standing 3 feet away from Him face to face. I could feel His presence, He had brown hair and brown eyes. Dressed in a white robe he smiled at me. This experience only last about 10 seconds and then I was wide awake.  For the next week I prayed for the interpretation. At the end of the following week this the answer came.

What the Lord was telling me is that; as in a football game there are many obstacles to get around to make it to the goal. Your going to bump into struggles, you might be knocked down, you might even be hurt,  but if you  look toward Jesus, He will be there to help you and meet your needs. As Christians Jesus should be first in our life, not your job, not your family but God. Yes, family is important also.  One of the Ten Commandents is "Thou shalt not put any other gods before Me."

The Bible says; "Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. James 4:8"  Jesus should be the main focal point in our daily lives as Christians. We should come to Him with our problems in prayer and thanksgiving. Philippians 4:6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God. Amplified Bible

The Lord wants to hear your sorrows, desires, needs. Go to Him in prayer and ask Him for what you need in life. Such as joy, peace of mind, happiness, health, or whatever you are seeking. Jesus should be above all things, family, TV, work, play, and yes even Sunday afternoon football.

James.4:3
When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

Mark.11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
