ANSWERED PRAYER STEPS 5, 6, & 7

Step 5

Whatever promise you are looking for and after you have found it in the Bible, now you must meditate on it. What does meditate mean? To engage in contemplation, especially of a
spiritual or devotional nature. Other words you must reflect, think over, think through, turn over, weigh, contemplate, revolve, ponder, muse, chew over, cerebrate, cogitate, deliberate, mull, ruminate. Got the idea?

Once you have prayed for it, now see yourself as having received your answer. Make it become a reality. I will use healing for one promise of many that are in the Bible. I needed healing throughout my entire body. I studied scriptural healing to see what the Bible had to say about it from other books. After I learned the secret of receiving what I was to pray for, I applied it to my life.

It's hard to see yourselves well when you're in pain. That was the one thing I struggled with at first. You can't be moved my what you feel or what you see. That is the one reason why prayer is not answered.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Faith is in the Bible and we are to take what is in the Bible as truth. There is no set date in the Bible where faith was abolished. How can someone believe that we must have faith in Christ that died for us and not to have faith in what He preached on healing? Along with the other books in the New Testament. God not does change.

I prayed and prayed and prayed until I lost all hope in the Lord. I still believed in Him and never rejected His Word. I just thought it was Gods will for me not to be healed.

It is Gods will for "
ALL" to be healed. That was one of the reasons Jesus went to the cross. Isa.53:5 "By His stripes I am healed." Praise the Lord! God does not want any of us to be sick. Many people our sick today because of their own faults.

If we have weak minds our bodies can become weak. When we carry anger, bitterness, hatred toward others, our minds can take so much of that. As an example you can pour so much water into a cup before it over flows.
( Medical science has proven that the mind can take so much before it effects other parts of the human body. They have also discoverd that those that go to church, attend a Bible study, pray, or have some kind spiritual life are healtheir than those that do not have a spiritual life. And they live longer. Is this a surprise to you?)

When it moves from the mind it usually goes to the weakest part of the body. Whether it be the heart, liver, stomach, muscles, back, etc.

When one gets angry, many things go on in the anatomy of the body. Your pulse rate increases, your blood pressure increases, you start to breath faster, ect. Anger can cause a stroke or heart attack. This usually happens after many years of built up anger. Anger abuses the body, it can destroy the immune system, and other organs of the body functions.

Mat.5:22 Jesus is saying that anger will bring judgment unto us. Not only in this life but the life that follows.

In Colossains 3:8 But now ye also put off all these: anger, wrath......

Proverbs 16:32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.

Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil.

Anger is allowed by the gospel, but not sin. Mark 3:5 Jesus was filled with anger in the synagogue, And He went into the temple and found it being used for selling and buying. And He over threw the money tables.

Step 6

You must start praising God for what he has done and is doing now in your life. Start thinking about how marvelous God is and praise Him for the promises in His Word. Read Phil 4:6. That "be careful for nothing" means in "nothing be anxious". Or, it means, "Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything". As long as you fret and are are anxious, praying and fasting isn't going to do any good. That verse says, "with thanksgiving" and this comes after praying about it. You thank Him for it after you've prayed for it.

Step 7

When you pray for something He hears you the first time. Now start acting on it and thank Him for the answer. How do you act on it? Accept it that you have received it and put it into action. ?Lord I believe in your promise that I have asked for, I receive it and I thank you for it". Pray without ceasing. The Lord will answer your prayer in His will not ours.

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord: and he inclined unto me, had heard my cry. Psalms. 33:20, Psalms. 130:6

Dan. 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth.......

??????????????????????????
We can pray for salvation for others.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we come before You in prayer and in faith, believing. It is Jesus that came to save the lost. You wish all men to be saved and to know Your Divine Truth, Therefore, Father, we bring ____________________ before You this day.

Satan, we bind you in the name of Jesus and loose you from the activities in _______________?s life!

God Word says that it will deliver those for whom we intercede. We must stand on Gods' Word the moment that we pray. Remember after you have prayed for a lost love one or a friend you must thank the Lord for that persons salvation. Confess it that is has been done.

Answers to Bible quiz

How far is a Sabbath day's journey? Acts 1:12 The law regards travel on the Sabbath is found in Ex. 16:29 It was fixed at 2000 paces, or about six furlongs, from the wall of the city. The permitted distance seems to have been grounded on the space to be kept between the ark and the people, Josh 3:4 in the wilderness, which tradition said was that the same distance given as circumference outside the walls of the Levitical cities to be counted as their suburbs. Num. 35:5.

Do we have angels assigned to us? The writer to the Hebrews in the New Testament tells us that God has appointed angels to the heirs of salvation. Hebrews 1:14. If you are an heir of salvation in the household of faith, then you have special angels appointed to you. Psalms 34:7 tells us one of the things angels do for us: The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them. Psalms 91:11 tell us that angels are put in charge over us to keep us in all our ways. In certain circumstances angels will protect us in times of danger, and we may not ever be aware of it. Hebrews 13:1,2 Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Next Bible questions:

1. Where is a Unicorn found in the Bible?
2. Name three human reactions that Jesus had while on earth.
3. Where is trinity found in the Bible? This is a trick question, first you must know what trinity stands for.

Until next week, may the Lord bless you and guide you in every way.
