I'm A V Bhaskara Rao,  doing  Research in IIT Bombay, Mumbai  in the area of Earthquake Engineering. I'm survived with my wife,  Mrs. Rani and two children, Nithish  and  Asish   studying V standard and II standard respectively.  I hail from a beautiful place Tenali, Andhra Pradesh - popularly known as 'Andhra Paris' for its fashions, culture and art.

I did my Graduation in B.Tech (Civil Engg.) in
Bapatla Engg. College, Bapatla (A.P.) during 1985- 89, after  which I completed  my  M.Tech (Structures) in  National  Institution  of Technology, Warangal (earlier known to be  Regional Engineering College, Warangal) during 1989-91. Immediately I joined in our college, i.e., Bapatla Engg. College, Bapatla as a Lecturer and since then, I worked there for about 11 years,  till 2002. Later, I joined  as  a  Research Scholar  in this prestigeous and one of the greatest institutes of  India - IIT Bombay.  In fact,  a  co-anchor on  CBS 60 Minutes  (America's  famous TV programme) had gone on to describe IIT Bombay as, " Put Harvard, Princeton and MIT together, and you begin to get an idea of the status of this great school in India."

My hobbies include web browsing, painting, listening to music, tourism etc.,
