Current movies saw over weekend:

Great Escape: In 1930s the German nazis built one of the impregnable camp where prisoners of war were kept. But in doing so they unknowingly helped the assembling of bunch of clever escape artistes who paved the way for what remains finest escapades. This true story is portrayed brilliantly by Steve McQueen and Richard Attenborough, in one of classic films ever "The Great Escape".

My Ratings ***** (Flawless brilliant classic, thanks to Tenny who asked me to see this film)

Bruce Almighty: Human interest reporter Bruce Nolan ( Jim Carrey ) is discontented with almost everything in his life despite immense popularity and his affable, beautiful girlfriend Grace (Grace Anniston). He starts the blame game blaming god first for not getting many things like anchor's job in the Tv company he works in. God (Played effectively by Morgan Freeman) bestows all his divine powers on him and challenges him if he can handle it better. Bruce enjoys for a while but gets fed up when things go terribly out of hand resulting in breakup with his girlfriend. He soon returns divine powers to god and life starts all over again for him with grace.

My ratings: *** (It is Jim's magic which takes the film far)

Koi Mil Gaya: "You r not alone" is film's tagline."Leave the film alone" I tell you.Although Hrithik is relishing and superb in his portrayal of Retarded man who with the help of his alien friend goes on to live a normal life and ravishing Rekha, bubbly Priety Zinta make the film quite ok to watch, the film quite somewhat fails to deliver the punch. A family film in total.

My Ratings:**

Matrix Reloaded: Brilliantly reloaded!!!!!!!On the whole special effects stun and blow your ear and eyes. Watch in theatre!!!!!

My Ratings:****

Terminator-3 : Action b/w the programmed human machines complete with some brilliant visual effects, rip-roaring sounds that's all. Total waste of money in general. Nothing else. Story the world knows.

My Ratings ------.(zero/5) (  ;-) I am a too brutally critic)

Here are some of my reviews of films I've watched along my cousin.

Hungama: As the title says it is a superhit fungama unlimited. Priyadarshan conjures up a never ending funorama starring Paresh Rawal,Akshaye Khanna,Aftab and Rimi Sen(commendable debut) and host of others. The plot is to keep you entertained throughout.

My Ratings:****

Deewarein: Nakesh Kukunoor follows from where he did "Rock-Ford","Hyderabad blues".A well connected story at it's core it is a must watch film. Hats off to kukunoor who himself is a character in the film for making a striking film void of hype, oomph, glamour, songs etc..Cast is pretty experienced one with Juhi Chawla,Jackie Shroff,Naseeruddin Shah and Gulshan Grover.

My Ratings:****
