I Don't Know Why 
 

I don't know why Jesus died for me.

I am not worthy of his death. 
 
 

I don't know why Jesus loves me.

I am not worthy of his love. 
 
 

I don't know why Jesus heals my body.

I am not worthy of his blood.
 
 

I don't know why Jesus came to save my soul.

I'm not worthy of his Grace
 
 

When friends and family desert me.

He has promised never to leave or forsake me.
 
 

When I fumble and fail 

He lifts me up.
 
 

When my heart is grieved and broken.

He is my comforter.
 
 

When I have lost my way and don't know what to do.

He is my Guide.

When I am hungry and there is no bread in the house

He is the bread of life.

When I am misunderstood and mistreated

He is my righteousness.
 
 

In the still of the night.

He is my song of Joy.
 
 

And when my sins condemned me and I had no defense.

Jesus paid the price for me
