He is farming near Yorktown. Claud F. 1894; Clinton W. 1897 both school boys.

They have had two sons and three daughters: Clarisa E., born 1862 married 1881 to Simon Stewart, a farmer near Muncie; Linzie L., born 1866, married 1888 to Mary McPherson who died 1890 leaving two girls, Nora M. 1889. Forest L. 1894 by 2nd wife, Margaret Culbertson. Minnie E., born 1870 and married Robert M. Johnson. They have two sons: Sylvester E. 1888 and Alva 1892. Leroy F. Williams, born 1875, a farmer.
John Williams owned and lived on a farm near Hartford, Ind. until his death 1883 at age 48. His wife lives in Hartford, Ind.

William N. Williams was born on January 9, 1861, on a farm about five miles southwest of Harford City, Indiana, to John P. Williams, eldest son of William Y. Williams, and his first wife, Rosana McConell WIlliams, who died at his birth. His grandmother, Esther Maroney Williams brought the baby by horseback when he was nine days old from Blackford County to her home in Delaware County. He spent his entire life on this farm. He married Nancy C. Cassell on February 17, 1881. She was born near Wyethville, Virginia, on June 10, 1861. His grandfather, William Y. Williams, lived with them until his death in 1900.
