LUZENIA HEATH BRANCH

35 MATTIE BAILEY, born 1850 and 1875 married Rev. Willis R. Bailey, a Baptist minister. She has taken an active interest in furnishing data for this history and always anxious to hear any news from any member of the family. She is an active worker in assisting her husband in his pastoral work and the ladies societies. They recently moved from Delaware, Iowa to Epworth, Iowa where they are furnished with a good parsonage and a much larger salary. They have moved her mother from Danville, Illinois to make her home with them. She is 88 years old and quite feeble as we are all apt to be when we reach that age and it is a great comfort to have children to take care of us in our declining years.
