34 SARAH PERDIEU born 1835 in Indiana, 1852 married Allen C. Perdieu to whom were born one son and three daughters. They lived north of the old Heath farm where she died 1881 age 46. She was remarkable for her energy and industrious habits working in the house and on the farm. The writer has a vivid recollection of cutting corn with her and he had to hustle to keep up his side. Allen lived on the same farm until his death 1904. They were both members and faithful supporters of the Methodist church. We have tried to obtain the addresses and reports from the daughters who are married, but so far have failed. Later - Charles born 1858 is farming on home farm. Sarah, born 1867 married 1888 to James Ogle. They have 4 boys and 2 girls. They are farming six miles north of Muncie, Ind. Nellie, born 1874 unmarried. Clara born 1871 married 1890 to Wm. Farar, a contractor of Muncie.

34 MARY MILLER, born 1837 in Indiana, 1855 married Absalom Miller of Va. To them were born one son and seven daughters. They lived on the old James Tomlinson farm until 1870 when they sold it to Isaac Williams and moved to Brooklyn, Iowa where they lived on a farm until 1890 when they moved into Brooklyn where Mr. Miller died a year or so later. Mary is still living in Brooklyn and the children are living on farms in that vicinity. Absalom was a successful farmer and took quite an interest in raising draft horses. They were both members of the Dunkard church.
