33 GEORGE ALLEN HEATH born on the old Heath farm 1835 and married Christenia Storer 1855, by whom was born three sons and one daughter. He was of a mechanical turn of mind and spent most of his life as an engineer of saw and grist mills. The last years of his life he lived at Anderson, Ind. where he was foreman in a sawmill foundry and where his three sons learned the machinist trade. He died in Anderson 1876 age 41. His widow survived him several years and died in Muncie. Uncle George was a man of quiet disposition, who made friends with every one he met. He was a member of Home Guards during the civil war and was mustered in at Indianapolis during the Morgan Raid to protect the city. He was called out to assist in the arrest of old Dave Chriss who was killed near the Cross Roads by Capt. James Nation's company of Home Guards. George A. was a member of the Masonic order.

Mr. Geo. A. Heath, foreman at the Anderson Machine Works, died of typhoid fever at his residence in this city about noon on Tuesday. The funeral will take place today, and attended by the Good Templars and Knights of Honor, of which orders he was a highly esteemed member.

A few days since Mrs. Geo. A. Heath, of this place, received from the order of Knights of Honor the sun of $2,000, it being the amount due her as insurance on the life of her husband recently deceased. This is only one of many cases illustrating the benefits resulting from a membership in that order.
