Streusel Coffeecake

2 cups flour

1 cup sugar

3 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened

1 cup milk

1 egg

Heat oven to 350*

Grease bottom f a 13 X 9- inch pan

Beat remaining ingredients in large mixing bowl on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 2 minutes. Spread half of the batter in prepared pnm. Sprinkle with half of the streusel. Top with remaining batter, Top with remaining batter; sprinkle with remaining streusel. Bake until wooden tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes
