Pound hamburger

liquid)

diced onion

cup diced green chilies (about 2)

cup diced celery (about 1 stalk)

medium tomatoes diced (May substitute a can diced tomatoes)

teaspoons cumin powder

tablespoons chili powder

teaspoons salt

Brown
the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat; drain off the fat. Crumble the
beef into pea size pieces. In a
large pot, combine the beef plus all the remaining ingredients. Bring to a
simmer over low heat. Cook for 2 to 3 hours, stirring every 15 minutes.
