Cheese and Apple Coffeecake

cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp)

cup granulated sugar

medium apple peeled, cored and chopped

cup firmly packed light brown sugar

teaspoon ground cinnamon

Heat
oven to 375*
In
a medium sized mixing bowl combine all coffeecake ingredients except cheese and
apple. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until well mixed (about 1 to 2
minutes) Stir in cheese and apple. Spread into a greased 9-inch square-baking
pan. In a small bowl stir together topping ingredients; sprinkle
over batter.
Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
