Beef and Broccoli

 

1 Pound beef fillet, thinly sliced

2 teaspoons soy sauce

½ cup vegetable stock

1 Pound broccoli florets

½ teaspoon granulated sugar

½ teaspoon chopped fresh ginger

1 tablespoon cornstarch blended with 3 tablespoons of vegetable stock

 

Combine sliced beef with soy sauce, and let marinate 15 minutes. Heat a non-stick pan. Add beef and stir-fry for 1 minute. Remove meat set aside; Add stock to pan; bring to a boil. Add broccoli, sugar and ginger, and cook covered over high heat 3 minutes. Return meat to pan. Stir in blended cornstarch to thicken. Serve at once.
