Section 1: Approach Life and Appearance To Others

He has a sensible and realistic outlook on life and his two feet are always planted firmly on the ground (though he may, on occasion, have his head in the clouds). Others often see him as a rock of strength, solid, reliable, dependable, and constant. He is, in fact, amazingly consistent for he possesses great powers of endurance and does not like to make changes or adjustments in his regular routine. He does things deliberately and methodically and does not easily accommodate the unexpected.
Though he has a gentle, even soft, appearance, he is enormously strong-willed and stubborn. He goes at his own pace and refuses to be rushed or pushed into anything before he feels sure about it. He can be coaxed and persuaded by charm, beauty, love, or affection - but never forced. He won't fight either, but simply stubbornly resist any attempt to coerce him to do something he does not want to do.

When he has a purpose, he is extremely fixed, immovable, and bull-headed about it. His obstinance is often infuriating to others, especially since it takes much provocation to make him flare up or respond to their anger. He appears calm, unruffled, and nonemotional most of the time, but behind his easygoing and peaceable appearance there lies great strength.
When it comes to a contest of wills, he often wins simply due to his relentless persistence, his ability to outlast just about anyone. Another reason for his slowness to make changes is his very strong need for security. He is most comfortable in stable, relatively unchanging conditions and he also has a strong desire for tangible security - a home of his own, money in the bank, job-security, etc. The other side of his steadiness is that he easily gets caught in a rut and will stay in a familiar situation (be it job, marriage, or whatever) long after it has lost its vitality and interest.

He has a keen appreciation of the natural world and gets much happiness from simple creature comforts and the physical world, with all of its myriad delights. He is quite sensual in a very natural, wholesome way and he knows how to enjoy himself. He is appealing to the opposite sex in an earthy way. He is also a great lover of beauty and his tastes are basically conventional or classic - not modern.

Section 2: The Inner: Real Motivation

At heart he is very gentle, impressionable, and receptive -a dreamer. The world of his imaginationn, feelings, and intuition is as real to him as anything in the outer world, though he may have trouble verbalizing or interpreting his inner experiences in a way others can understand. Mystical, artistic, musical, emotional and imaginative, he has a rich inner life, though he may seem rather unobtrusive and quiet outwardly. He usually keeps to himself.

He has great sensitivity and empathy with others, and he often senses things psychically or intuitively which prove to be correct. He is tolerant, forgiving, and nonjudgmental, accepting people unconditionally regardless of their flaws, mistakes, or outward appearance. He has deep compassion for the suffering of any fellow creature and often feels others' pain as if it were his own. He sympathizes with the needy, the disadvantaged, the misfits of society. He is capable of giving selflessly, living a life of devoted and compassionate service to others, as a healer, physician, social worker, or minister.
However, he tends to give indiscriminately, to let others take advantage of his kindness, and to encourage the weak to remain so by becoming dependent upon him. He has little sense of boundaries, of limits, of knowing when to say "no". Moderation and self-discipline are not his strong points.

He is a lover and a peace-maker rather than a fighter, and he tries to avoid open conflict. He will patiently ignore or "tune out" problems and hope they will go away by themselves, rather than directly confronting them, and he tends to lack the positive fighting spirit that is sometimes necessary to overcome challenges. He is fluid, open, nonresistant, and somewhat passive. He does things in a subtle, often covert, manner.

His gifts may also lie in the realm of the creative, artistic, or musical, for he has a great sensitivity, inspiration, and limitless imagination. He responds very strongly to beauty and to love.

His faults include a tendency to be lazy and negligent, and to wallow in self-pity rather than taking strong, definite action to change his life for the better. He also tends to become so detached from his immediate environment that he lives in a disorderly, chaotic sort of hodgepodge, though this probably bothers those around him more than it bothers him.
