*(1) Literally, spirit guidance is a person who leads the death home. In old time, Chinese believes in bringing the death to bury in their hometown. The guidance job, is to simply do that. Well the tricky part is, without funeral, you cannot put the death in coffin. And, without their family, you cannot hold a funeral. So spirit guidance job is to deliver the corpse to their family so that their family can hold a funeral. Usually, these guidances have magic which allows them to control corpse and keep traveling to destination. They usually work at night, with only one or two assistants. Kinda like cowboys with herd of cattle, if I might say. Again, go check the movie. (Ah, the smartest source of all)
