*(2) OK, explanation here. Spirit Plate is a small wooden plate that has a name of a person who already passed away. Usually it is used for worshipping purpose (sort of like mini tombstone).
*(3) Yep, like when you are worshipping. The usual way to handle this is you put incense in the food you want your beloved to enjoy.
*(4) Well, so many notes…this is not just an expression of 'I am gonna eat.' I believe that it is more of a prayer (like Christians always do before eating). This kind of prayer is to express your gratitude toward food, god, or whatever you believe based on your culture.
*(5) Have you ever had this kind of feeling? Usually, you wake up, but you are numb. You can't move any of your body parts, even open your eyes. In Asian, there is an expression that you can't move because a ghost is sitting on you. (Well, there is a scientific proof that it is just misunderstanding between your muscle and your nerve)
