Little is known about minds of a panther in the worlds of men, most
believe that they are slave, or at least once were before escaping the grasp of Gor's general nature.
Some are said to have been free women, no longer happy with their arranged free compainionships.
They are free spirits, unbound by the rules set upon them by men, wandering the forests in the north,
and in the south. They are wild, savage, as if they see themselves the betters of Gorean men.
What is known is that they hunt often in groups, or perhaps it would be better described as packs, for
that is how the panthers will hunt, taking down larger game by sheer numbers. Captives, once taken are often raped and shaved with a degrading strip down the middle of their heads, showing them to have
been taken by the panther women. Quick and agile, they survive on their own, selling their captive slaves
when they tire of them and always on the move, knowing they are highly sought after. Some will say,
that panther women make the best slaves, they who have lived so long without a man to claim them.
Those of the citys almost always seek panthers for flesh, yet, often the panthers will trade with outlaws males of the
forests, they are much the same outlaws and panthers. Each generally respect the other, knowing that
in a sense they are in the same situation, as outlaws are often hunted as well for the bounty on their
heads. A sort of bond is formed between the panthers and outlaws, for they both hunt, sometimes, in
rare cases they have been known to hunt together, outlaw and panther.
