Where has all the time gone now?
It�s a memory, it has slipped by so fast,
It is God's plan, the way it has to be,
Thinking back, the gifts God gave to me.
My thoughts go back to yesterday
Today, I hold all your memories,
Oh the joy, God gave to dad and me,
He gave you both to be our family.
When I looked into your pretty face's
I knew God would send His love and grace,
So I could love you, teach and train
Until someday, God comes to reign.
We loved your big brown and blue eyes
Your pretty face with a lovely smile,
Having curls dark and blonde oh so neat,
You both made our family so complete.
As I counted your toes and fingers too
You both were perfect, I thank God for you:
Two gifts on loan, from God up above,
He covered you both in His blanket of love.
We watched and loved you as you grew,
To be the Sons you are today,
We thank God for the joy you�ve shared,
We thank Him too, for all the years.
We watched you grow from baby up
And did our best so you would be,
Now as we look back we are so proud,
Two special sons you are to dad and me.
How we've prayed down through the years
That good boys you would become,
He heard our every prayer, we prayed,
We thank Him for, two precious sons.
Thank you God for blessing us
With two precious baby boys:
Looking back now it's so long ago,
They both were precious as the gold.
Lord, grant us strength from day to day
To help our children along life's way,
May they always see, Jesus living in me,
So they too will share, Your gift you see.
So when I leave you here below my sons
I know my work is done and complete:
Always trust your God for everything,
Someday in Heaven, together we'll meet.

Bernice's Inspirations
"The Joys of Being A Mom & A Nan"
Being a mother and grandmother has been
a great challenge for me. One of my sons
gave me a plaque with the words, The family
that prays together stays together. It meant
so much to me and it's so true even for today.
My thoughts go back to when I was a child,
all I can remember is being taught about
Jesus and His love for me. I remember my
mom took us to church every Sunday, she
did not send us she took us. I grew up in
the church. I got involved in all church activities.
When I became a mom I wanted to be a Christian
mom to my children so it would be passed on
from generation to generation. It wasn't until after
I got married my dad came to know the Lord.
Both my parents encouraged me to be where
I am today. When God blessed me with our
first baby boy I thought I had the whole world.
I protected him with all the love God gave to me.
My greatest joy was teaching him about Jesus
and His love.
Then nearly seven years later our second
bundle of joy came now our family was complete.
Jim and I were so happy two lovely boys they were
so perfect. I was a stay at home mom and house
wife until my second son went to school. I loved
my job dearly...When they came home from
school mom was there, if one of them fell mom
was there to wipe that falling tear. Then I went
out to work to give them the best that we could.
As my children grew I encouraged them to get
involved in the church and always try and make
the right choices. As I look back I see two
beautiful boys has become two beautiful dads
with lovely wives and children of their own.
We are the proud grandparents of three
beautiful grandchildren that we love and adore.
Its been such a joy being a part of their lives as well.
I have done my best sharing Jesus with them too
teaching them how important it is to stay close to
God always. Today all my family is involved in
the work of the Lord. They are my boys, girls,
and grandchildren that God gave to me,
until the day He calls me home.
There are many things unknown to us going
through life so many things to draw us away
from the Lord, many disappointments and tears,
few there is to lift you up, but always lean upon
Jesus, will never let you down and will always
be your best friend in this life. Journeying
together with God makes all the difference.
Putting God first and making Him a part
of your lives. Follow God's Holy word as
your road map. God promised that He
would never leave us, and He would work
all things together for our good and His glory.
Although there will be many bumps along
the way, God will been in every trial,
and His grace will always be sufficient.
Thank You Jesus for being my best Friend.
