Lord at times my tears fall like rain
Then at the Mercy Seat I fall,
Pleading to You to hear my call,
Lord heal my heart, You're my all in all.
Thank you Lord, You always listen
As I kneel down at Your feet,
I bring to You all my hurt,
As I bow down at the Mercy Seat.
On the journey it's many bumps along the way
And life seems so hard to bear,
It's at the Mercy Seat with Jesus,
I roll on Him my every care.
Heavenly Father from above
I thank You for Your showers of love,
I come before Thee at Thy feet,
Asking forgiveness at the Mercy Seat.
At the Mercy Seat I see the blood
That was poured out for me at Calvary,
As the blood flows from His hands and feet,
I feel so complete at the Mercy Seat.
Someone is praying at the Mercy Seat
They're whispering your name in prayer,
Asking God that you will feel,
His Love, Peace and tender care.
At the mercy seat I find God's presence
He speaks to me so gentle and clear,
It's there I seek His loving face,
I'm so overwhelmed by His Favor and Grace.
