Lord You are my lasting joy,
My worship I give to You,
I lift my heart to God above,
I'm sheltered in His wings of love.
Lord you are my strength and so Divine,
To Thee I Honor and Praise Your Name,
May my love never fail to grow,
And my praises never cease to flow.
You are my Lord, Saviour and King,
Sweet homage to You, I will bring,
We'll journey to where You have trod,
Until I reach the City of God.
Lord may I be your light each day,
Spreading love along the way,
Helping those with a heavy load,
For life can be a weary road.
In Heaven we'll join the Saints above,
Where tears will never stain the eye,
Hearts no more bound by care,
Jesus hears our heartfelt prayers.
