"My Friend"

I'm so happy you are my friend
I thank God for you each day
You are only a e-mail away,
We are friends now until the end.



We may never meet down here
But at the Jordan river we will share.
You are truly one of a kind,
When I talk to God, you're on my mind.



God knew I would need a special friend
I thank Him for sending you my way.
Just know that I love you dearly,
I pray God's love in your heart to stay.



You make my days happy and bright
Sending e-mails across the miles
You always know just what to say,
Your kind words just makes me smile.



I find strength in good days and bad
And when the clouds are hanging low,
God says, hold on a little longer child,
I'm sending trials to help you grow.

But there is a friend who sticks closer than
a brother. Proverbs 18:24b





"Friends"

Having a friend that one can depend upon at
all times sounds like a little piece of heaven.
Knowing you havea friend that one can talk
to at any time just calms the inner thoughts.
A good friend gives joy and peace deep
within the very soul. I believe God puts friends
in our path just at the right times. Maybe we
would have given up if it was not for a good
friend. Friends share each others hurt and uplifts
each other in prayer daily. Strength flows from the
heart of a friend into the heart of another. Many
times we are overwhelmed by the love and kind
words of a friend. I thank God for all the friends
He has brought into my life.





When you feel that no one cares remember you
have a friend and his name is Jesus. No matter
where you have been or what you have done, your
friend Jesus is always waiting with open arms to
welcome you into the family of God. God loves you
so much. Going to the cross proved His love
to all the world. God wants us to have the same
sacrificial love for one another. I give God thanks
for His friendship that lives in my heart always.
I thank God for Jesus for He was a friend to sinners.
Lord I pray that I will be the friend that you would
want me to be to help spread your love to others.
