de-Dieppe, Normandie, France. He m. Mathurine Poisson, 8 Oct 1647 at Quebec,
Que.

607. Anne ARCHAMBAULT-Ch. 73-3
Born in France, Anne arrived in Montreal, Que, c. 1646, with her parents. She 1m. Michel Chauvin 1647, They had 2 children, Charlotte and another who died in the cradle. Charlotte m. Jean Beaudoin in 1663.
While passing through France, Louis Prudhomme learned that Michel Chauvin's lawful wife was living in povertgy at Sainte-Suzanne. On 8 Oct 1650, in the presence of Paul de Chomedey, according to the notes of notary Jean de Saint-Pere, Chauvin admitted his mistake. The bigamous man was returned to France. Anne's marriage to Chauvin was annulled.
Anne 2m. Jean Gervais, a master baker, 3 Feb 1654 at Ville-Marie (Montreal), Que. This worthy couple, responsible for 9 children are the pride of the Gervaise descendants.

Pierre lm. Marthe Renaudin at LaRochelle, Aunis, France. He 2m. Jeanne Perrin
c. 1638 at LaRochelle, before emigrating to New France. He was a porter.

Helene, 1m. Guillaume Hebert, who died 1639. She 2m Noel Morin 9 Jan 1640, our
ancestor. Helene, dau of Pierre and Francoise Langlois was said to be the first
white child born in the St. Lawrence region, in "New France".
