Jean signed a contract of marriage with Marguerite Sedilot at Trois-Rivieres
and they were married on 19 Sep 1654. However, since she was only ll years old
at that time, they were re-married atNotre-Dame de Montreal on 12 Apr 1655 when
she was at the ripe old age of 12. They had 15 ch. 6 boys, 7 girls and 2 un-
named infants who died at birth. Jean was assassinated in his bed on 30 Nov
1685 at Montreal. Marquerite's lover was tried for his murder, but was not
convicted.

Marguerite was ll years old when she contracted marriage with Jean Aubuchon.
19 Sep 1654 at Trois-Rivieres. She officially married him on 12 April 1655 at Montreal (12 yrs old). They had 15 children. Jean Aubuchon was assassinated 30 Mar 1685.

She 2m. Pierre Lussard dit Desruisseux (de St-Onge, Fr.) 10 Feb 1687, Notaire
Benigne Bassett. They had l child.

339. Eleonore MOUILLARD-M-7-19

Eleonore was a "Kings Daughter", one of a group of young women sent to New
France by the French King to provide wives for the bachelor settlers in the new
territory. The King provided a small dowry and a small casket of money for the
new couples and paid the womens' passage. They were also known as "Casket
Girlsf" or "Filles du Roi" (daughters of the King).
