Ancestors of Bernice Gladys SHARROW-1

Notes

8. Jacques I CHARRON-Ch.1-8

After the death of his wife, Julienne Truteau, Jacques I 2m. Marie-Louise Viau
29 Oct 1876, at St-Jean Chrysostome..

In Jacque & Julienne's family there were two Philomenes, one born 1838, m.
Peter Barbeau, 1856. The 2nd Philomene born 1840, d. 1841 was a twin to
Maxime, also b. 1840 and d.1843, both infants. Can't figure out why they
named a 2nd Philomene, when the lst was living at the time, unless there was a
lst name before the Philomene, like Marie-, which sometimes occurred.

9. Julienne TRUTEAU-Ch l-9

Julienne lm. Francois Chevalier 18 Jan 1828 at St-Francois d'Assisse, Longue-Pointe.

She 2m. gr.gr.father Jacques Charron 27 Oct 1835 at St-Francois d'Assisse, Longue-Pointe, Que.

Julienne is sister of Dominique Truteau (son of Joseph Truteau & Marie LeMay-Delorme). Dominque is gr.gr.
grandfather to Al Trudeau, e-mail correspondent ([email protected]). See Jos. Truteau file for more info.

12. Michel GAUTHIER-Ch.1-12

Michel lm. Ursule Petit, (location?), (c.1850?), my great-grandfather (born c. 1825?), (location?).

Michel (widower of Ursule Petit) 2m. Odile Lauzon 25 Sep 1865 at Ste-Anne des Plaines, Terrebonne.

There are 2 other references in the Terrebonne repertoire:

1. Gauthier, Jean-Baptiste (feu Michel et feu Odile Labelle) m. Lauzon, Azilda (Pierre et Marie Legare), St-Jovite; 28 April 1913.

2. Gauthier, Victor (Michel et feu Odile Labelle) m. Lauzon, M.-Louise (Pierre et Marie Legare) St-Jovite; 19 June 1905. Could these be the sons of Michel and Odile Lauzon??

Then there is Michel's 3rd marriage: Michel (Widower of Odile Lauzon) to Emilie Bourgeois, 24 Aug 1874, Notre-Dame de Grace.

(above records photo-copied from Terrebonnne and Notre-Dame-de-Grace parish reportoires.)

15. Marie-Stephanie RIVARD- DUFRESNE-Ch.1-15

Marie-Stephanie Rivard/Dufresne was also recorded as Dufresne-Rivard, which
the pedigree charts would not accept, so I have changed it to the first
spelling, but the second spelling is on her grave marker in St. Genevieve
Cemetary in Centerville, Anoka County, Minnesota. Her husband, Jean-Baptiste
Bernier's grave marker is also adjacent to hers.
