REMEMBERING THE JOURNEY

 
Berean has a history which takes it back earlier than 1904.   It is most unfortunate that written records were not kept prior to that year so that the actual year of its inception is not available.  However, from the mental recollection of some of the pioneer survivors - Elam Davis, Eddie Shirley, Willie Wyche,, and Dewitt Cobbs - and the documentation of later periods, the following information has been ascertained:



The Berean Seventh Day Adventist Church has taken pride in providing a variety of services to the community for many years, sharing our blessing whenever and wherever there was a need.  In looking back over the history of the church it has been determined that we are 100 years old, if not older.
