396. Route 96 is from Route 299 near Willow Creek via the vicinity
of Weitchpec to Route 5 near the confluence of the Shasta and Klamath
Rivers.

In Humboldt County, you'll pass through the Hoopa Valley Indian Reservation.
The town of Hoopa has its own tribal museum if you want to visit.
Coming south on the I-5, Route 96 is the first route it encounters with.
There is a truck scale stop in the town of Happy Camp.
