(a) Route 99 near Stockton to Route 49 passing south of Ione.
(b) Route 49 in Jackson to the Nevada state line via Pine Grove,
Silver Lake, and Kirkwood.

Silver Lake is located in the town of Kit Carson. Some goodies
include boating, fishing, horseback riding, and over ninety developed
campsites. Farther east in Kirkwood is Caples Lake. The area offers
boating, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and some thirty developed
campsites.
Iron Mountain Resort and Kirkwood Ski and Cross-Country Resort are
located on Route 88 as well.
A rest area is located on the route near Sunnybrook in Amador County.
