California's Route 57357. Route 57 is from: (a) Route 1 near Huntington Beach to Route 22 near Santa Ana. (b) Route 5 near Santa Ana to Route 210 near San Dimas.
Entire route. [CS&HC Sec. 253.1]
Part (a) unconstructed.
Constructed portion (b). It's called the "Orange Freeway".
There are commuter lanes from Route 5 to the Orange/Los Angeles County Line in both directions.
Until 1998, Route 57 was from: (a) Route 1 near Huntington Beach to Route 22 near Santa Ana. (b) Route 5 near Santa Ana to Route 60 near Industry. (c) Route 60 near Industry to Route 210 near Route 10 and Pomona. In 1998, AB 2388, a resolution passed by the California State Assembly, transferred a portion of Route 210, from Route 10 in Pomona to former Route 30 in San Dimas, to Route 57.
Route 57 from Route 90 to Route 60 near Industry. [CS&HC Sec. 263.4]
Raging Waters, an adventure water park, is located on Via Verde in San Dimas and left. I've never been there, oddly enough. They have something called "El Nino: The Ride".
Where Routes 5, 22, and 57 meet in Santa Ana is called the Orange Crush. It's one evil little-big interchange with a whole messfull of weird ramps and twisted exits. Don't say that I didn't warn you! In Diamond Bar, Route 57 joins up with Route 60 for a while and then depart to their respective ways. Cal State Fullerton can be reached on either Yorba Linda Bl or Nutwood Ave and then westward. Placentia is on Chapman Avenue and then east. California State Highways (Pull-down) California State Highways (Tables) The Main Page
