    For those who are desperate to get into Lake Arrowhead from Route 18 north can always take Route 189. There are several places to stay along Route 189, including the Romantique Lakeview Lodge (Really: "Romantique"!), the Lake Arrowhead Resort, and the Arrowhead Pine Rose Cabins. Mind the curves.
