California's Route 188

  • 1965: Route 188 deleted. This was Fallen Leaf Road, near Lake Tahoe.
  • 1972: Current route defined.

    Points of Interest

    Along Route 188 is Rancho La Puerta, a health resort focusing on mind-body fitness. The resort offers low-fat spa cuisine, luscious gardens, a swimming pool, and spectacular views of Mount Kuchumaa. Spa programs are available.

  • Humphries Road - 1.3 miles south of Route 94 to Route 94: The KPRA advised for this route is less than 30 feet.

    Notes

    Route 188 runs entirely on Tecate Road. It has a port of entry into Mexico and the town of Tecate.
