Route 18 is from:
(a) Route 10 near San Bernardino to Route 210.
(b) Route 210 near San Bernardino to Route 15 in Victorville via
Big Bear Lake.
(c) Route 15 near Victorville to Route 138 near Pearblossom. [CS&HC Sec. 318]
Part (a) is unconstructed.
Road Conditions
1984: Discontinuity introduced at Route 15.
1994: Discontinuity introduced at Route 30.
October 10, 1999: AB 1650 chaptered; discontinuity changed to Route 210,
reflecting the transfer of Route 30 to Route 210.

Some major attractions on this mountain route include, but are not
limited to, Lake Arrowhead (You can get there by either taking Route 173
or Route 189), Snow Valley, and Big Bear. Here's a second link for a little

time of the year.
Route 10 to southern junction of Old Waterman Canyon Road by Arrowhead Springs Road in San Bernardino: Terminal Access.
Southern junction of Old Waterman Canyon Road by Arrowhead Springs Road in San Bernardino to Marble Canyon Road near Camp Rock Road: The KPRA advised for this route is less than 30 feet. Winding 16% grade PM 62.32 to PM 65.62. Trucks discouraged.
Marble Canyon Road near Camp Rock Road to San Bernardino/Los Angeles County Line: Terminal Access.
San Bernardino/Los Angeles County Line to western junction of Route 138 - End of Route 18: Terminal Access.
Route 18 from Route 210 to Route 38 is called the "Rim of The World Highway".
Just a reminder: In the winter time, when it actually snows, you are required
to wear chains in order to make the climb up the mountains to your snowy destination.
